AOKIGAHARA SUICIDE FOREST

The Aokigahara Forest is the most popular site for suicides in Japan. After the novel Kuroi Jukai was published, in which a young lover commits suicide in the forest, people started taking their own lives there at a rate of 50 to 100 deaths a year. The site holds so many bodies that the Yakuza pays homeless people to sneak into the forest and rob the corpses. The authorities sweep for bodies only on an annual basis, as the forest sits at the base of Mt. Fuji and is too dense to patrol more frequently.

i believe i can fly (flight of the frenchies)

It’s not very often that watching a 4 minute video can leave you out of breath and sore from hanging on to the edge of your seat, but in this trailer for the documentary “I Believe I Can Fly” by Frenchman Sebastian Montez-Rosset, it’s entirely possible. Chronicling a group of “skyliners” (which seems like a combination of slack lining, base jumping, and a general death wish), the excerpt is absolutely beautiful, featuring vistas of the group over the gorges of Noway and in between two skyscrapers in Paris, among other death-defying locations. Along with the striking imagery, the sound design also aims to literally blow you away, as the howling winds that are out to ruin the group’s goals (and possibly their lives) can be heard in full force.

Content+Technology was among guests at the Canon 'Cinema Eos' launch at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles in early November.
The Cinema EOS range includes the Canon EOS C300/C300 PL digital cinema camera which is available in two models: the EOS C300, equipped with an EF lens mount for compatibility with the wide array of lenses that make up Canon's current interchangeable EF lens lineup; and the EOS C300 PL, offering a PL lens mount for use with industry-standard PL lenses. The camera features a Super 35 mm-equivalent approximately 8.29-megapixel CMOS sensor.
Also launched were seven new 4K EF Cinema Lens models: four zoom lenses covering a wide zoom range from 14.5 mm to 300 mm-two models each for EF and PL lens mounts-and three single-focal-length lenses for EF mounts.
A 4K DSLR was also announced for 2012.

As well as Canon executives and special guest Director Martin Scorsese, attendees heard from a panel of film makers who had used the new camera and saw excerpts of their work.
They included: Richard Crudo A.S.C (Max is Back); Director Felix Alcala (Sword); Vincent Laforet (Mobius); and Sam Nicholson A.S.C. (XXIT).
This short testimonial piece outlines their reactions.

Drink Alkaline Water for Your Health

Alkaline drinking water is becoming increasingly trendy in the United States. This improvement in popularity is due to the many health benefits that have been reported not just in the United States but around the world.
Alkaline water is generated by a water ionizing appliance that uses electrolysis to divide water into both alkaline water and acidic water. The investigation into the health benefits of alkaline water began in Japan during the early 1950s. It was not until 1958 that these appliances were sold to the public. At first, they were used in hospitals in both Japan and South Korea. Many patients, with serious illnesses and diseases, recovered by consuming alkaline water and using the acidic water for external uses.
The home-version of water ionizing appliances were introduced to the United States in 1985. They were tested by a third party laboratory in 1986. The testing was made in accordance with FDA standards. The point of the test was to make sure that these machines produced water free from toxins.
What is it concerning alkaline water that makes it so helpful in health regaining and preservation? Each day, because of the physiological processes in our bodies we generate waste. This waste, according to health experts, is acidic. The older we become the less effective our bodies are at getting rid of this waste. Therefore, the increasingly acidic our bodies become. Researchers have seen a correlation connecting the increase of acidic waste and our tendencies towards illnesses and diseases. There is furthermore a correlation connecting acidic waste increase and aging.
If we lessen the acidic waste inside our bodies the less susceptible we are to diseases and illnesses. Within United States and other parts of the world we expect to be inflicted with arthritis, loss of sight, brittle bones and other diseases once we get old. But research has made known that these diseases are associated to the increase in acidic waste. Alkaline water helps our bodies to dispose of the acidic waste. In doing this, the body rejuvenates and promotes our immune system in the process.
I was introduced to the Kangen water machine, early 2009. I was told about the amazing health benefits. I began to execute my own investigation, because of my skeptical nature, and was persuaded about its results. I wanted to purchase one of these apparatus and also tell people about it. But once I heard the price for the apparatus I was discouraged. Where am I going to obtain ,000 to purchase this apparatus? I had already amassed too much on my credit cards and refused to add more.
By performing some additional investigation I realized that Kangen water is really ionized water. Futhermore, I realized that there are other manufacturers and several sources for these machines. The hopeful part regarding my findings is that all the other machines were priced under ,000. I came to understand that the reason the Kangen machine was ,000 is Enagic uses an 8-level multi-level marketing (MLM) scheme. All sales reps on each one of the 8 levels must to be compensated.
My intention was now to locate the top machine that is plausibly priced according to the competition. The winner, based on data from third party sources, the history and resources of the company, machine specifications and functions, and lastly price, is the KYK Genesis.
I bought the KYK Genesis 3000, seven-plate machine. I am happy with my purchase and so is my family. The machine provides a number of pH levels. Therefore it is more than just alkaline water; the other pH levels can be used to carry out things such as remove pesticides from vegetables, disinfect cutting boards, and immerse your tooth brush to remove bacteria.
Since I bought the ionizer I designed a website to educate individuals who desire to know more. The website also shows you where to get the KYK Genesis. Just click on the banner located at the bottom of every webpage.
Go and purchase one for your family. I am sure it will be one of the best (or the best) investment you will make in your health. As soon as you purchase one, let them know I sent you – they do reward for referals.
